AnS results

We set out to make a bunch of demo swords for DunDra Con. Well, we're minus one sword. We made a retarded dagger, and 14 throwing weapons. 10 of which are Tarsus' and we have dubbed it the fag of dicks. This of course referring to the "bundle" definition. 3 of which belong to Xantalo, and one was a concerted effort. This is why we can't have nice things. I think there was a plan to do another AnS night before the Con to actually get something done.

yes. same exact thing at my house on Thursday.(with less FAIL) check the AnS schedule thread for more details. we have some PCV cores but still need noodle, and contact cement that doesn't act more like lube.

I just got 3 pipe insulation tubes, one and a half of which I'll use for a shield and the rest will probably be up for grabs.
Edit: Also, I'm going to make a shield, I have cloth, but will anyone be able to help me make a cover? How many layers of foam do you need for a shield anyways?

You only need like one, but if you want the thing to last forever, then do like three layers of foam. Additionally, do you have leather or something similar for the straps?

Ah, okay. Yeah, I got some leather and I'm gonna use a door handle from Osh wrapped in nylon cord for the grip.

so i think all we need at this point is some more pipe foam.
i have some weird stuff that's equivalent to blue foam but thinner and lighter, and a few small blocks of plank foam.
