Here's a compilation of useful links that should be helpful to players new and old.

The CA lands websites:

http://www.wavehaven.net/ Wavehaven, in Santa Cruz
http://www.crimsonwood.org/ Crimson Wood, in Rohnert Park
http://www.foamwar.com/ Wyvern's Spur, in Berkeley
http://www.sloamtgard.com/ Seven Sleeping Dragons, in San Luis Obispo
http://www.meetup.com/amtgard-sacramento Thor's Refuge, in Sacramento
http://caamtgard.com/boards/viewforum.php?f=12 Ashen Spire, in San Jose
http://caamtgard.com/boards/viewforum.php?f=13 Eternal Coast, in Santa Barbara
http://www.siargeata.org/ Siar Geata, in San Diego

**Ashen Spire, Eternal Coast, and other land's reps, please link your website if/when you have one.**

General info:

http://www.electricsamurai.com/ - Often referred to as "e-Sam", this is considered the nearly-official web forum of Amtgard
http://www.amtgardinc.com/bldocs/amt7_7_2011-11-11.pdff - Current Amtgard Rulebook
http://games.dzucker.com/ - Online Database of Battlegames
http://www.amtgardrecords.com/ - The O.R.K.; online viewing of credits, titles, and awards
http://www.amtgardrecords.com/atlas/ - An atlas of the lands of Amtgard, their location, and monarchy contact information. This is a great resource to visit other lands when traveling
http://www.amtwiki.net/ - An editable knowledge source of all things Amtgard.
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=121463782154&__a=1 - Facebook page for Amtgard
http://theacornknight.blogspot.com/2014/11/the-tir-asleen-model-for-recruiting.html - Article suggesting specific recruiting practices

Shopping:

http://www.edhellen.com/ - They use fiberglass rods for their cores, resulting in heavy/durable weapons that are legal in heavy-contact LARPs with a weight minimum (Belegarth, Dagorhir, Darkon, etc)
http://www.foamforyou.com/Closed_Cell_Foam.htm - You want either Polyethylene or Microcell(tm). The foam bubbles in Microcell are around 1/10th to 1/100th the size of the bubbles in regular noodle/camp map foam. Forces are distributed better and loosing a bubble isn't a big deal. As a result, it lasts MUCH LONGER than the stuff we normally use. Sir Clalibus has had the same swords for 5-10 years, and hasn't had to replace the foam yet. Most Microcell is heavier than polyethylene. You get what you pay for. Warning: shipping foam is surprisingly expensive.
http://www.kitebuilder.com/catalog/ - DO NOT buy "pultruded" graphite tubes. They'll come apart in record time, as they lack "longitudinal" wraps... all the carbon fiber runs length-wise. Kitebuilder.com has both graphite and fiberglass tubes & rods. Tubes are lighter, but you have to buy their relatively large sizes to hold up to our variety of abuse
http://www.bandshoppe.com/cgi-bin/E5DB20C2/mac/template.mac/loadHtmlPage?htmlPage=/flags/accessories/VE200.html - Fiberglass poles from 5 to 8 feet long (Thanks Lucas for the being wordy about the above links)
http://www.goodwinds.com/merch/list.shtml?cat=fiberglass - Site offering fiber and carbon cores
http://www.theringlord.com/ - Commonly used site selling rings and related materials. Excellent for those too lazy to make their own chain-mail rings
https://www.warlordsports.com/Gear.aspx - Group of Amtgarders makings and selling quality weapons

Amtwiki, Old-n-Busted
Amtwiki, New Hotness (still in transition)

Your rulebook links are OLD. The official rules are at amtgardinc.com. And don't forget the errata approved at Clan this year.

The current copy of the rules are always on amtgardinc's "Amtgard Inc"->"Core Documents" page. Anything else is second or third hand. Use the source, Luke!

--Buy Stuff--
Premade weapons by Edhellen Armory. They use fiberglass rods for their cores, resulting in heavy/durable weapons that are legal in heavy-contact LARPs with a weight minimum (Belegarth, Dagorhir, Darkon, etc).

Foam:
FoamForYou.com
You want either Polyethylene or Microcell(tm).

Weapon Cores:
Kitebuilder.com
DO NOT buy "pultruded" graphite tubes. They'll come apart in record time, as they lack "longitudinal" wraps... all the carbon fiber runs length-wise. Kitebuilder.com has both graphite and fiberglass tubes & rods. Tubes are lighter, but you have to buy their relatively large sizes to hold up to our variety of abuse.

Bandshoppe.com
Fiberglass poles from 5 to 8 feet long.

Shipping anything 5' or longer is relatively expensive.

E-bay will often have people selling used graphite golf club cores for $1 to $5 each.

I've been meaning to post this for a bit. Kord made a good video about funnoodle sword construction. It's the way I build all of my noodle swords.

Check it out.

A collection of links for nearly everything. Not limited to Amtgard but that is my primary game. Reviews from places I have actually shopped at.

Also selling shield blanks, bags, shield covers, etc. Site is still under construction, but orders are being taken.
